| There are many adults involved with the ministry of Awana. Randy Bartels
is the Commander, and Matt Andersen is the Game Commander. Club Directors are Faith Rulapaugh, Cubbies; Cheryl Hanson, Sparks;
Esther Bartels; T&T; Mike Atherly, Trek; Susan Driscoll keeps
records assisted by Jeanine Kraayenbrink and Betty Odekirk. Other leaders include:
Danielle
Rulapaugh, Becky Andersen, Susan Newton, and Katie Mausich working with Sparks; Mike Decher,
Ben Driscoll and Al Kraayenbrink working with T&T boys; Tanya Kapler,
Kelly Driscoll and Karen Moore working with T&T girls; Becky
Andersen working with Trek.
In addition, there are a large group of 'Leaders In Training,' High
School students who assist in a variety of ways. LIT workers are: Liz Andersen and
Faith Bartels, Cubbies; Nikole Yearous and Adriel Moellers Sparks; Ben Bartels and Skip VanLeuven assist with games.
Awana will meet as scheduled unless the Oelwein Public Schools are dismissed
early due to inclement weather. If, on a Wednesday, the children are released
from school early due to weather, Awana will not be held that evening.
